You're Not Failing. You're Carrying Too Much.
You're the steady one at work. The one people rely on in crisis. The one who handles complexity and pressure every day.
But chronic stress doesn't disappear when you walk through your front door.
Over time, it can show up as irritability, withdrawal, emotional numbness, constant tension, feeling like roommates, or conflict that escalates faster than it used to.
This doesn't mean your relationship is broken. It means your nervous systems are overloaded. And overloaded systems are designed to focus on protection, not connection.

Couples Therapy Designed for High-Stress Professions
I specialize in working with couples where one or both partners work in high-demand roles and feel responsible for everyone else (and exhausted at home). This is not generic couples counseling. This is targeted work for couples carrying emotional load. The strengths that make you exceptional at work require a different kind of support at home.

-
Are ready to examine how stress impacts your relationship

It's probably not a good fit if you:
-
Are seeking insurance-based therapy

How quickly will we see change?
Many couples begin to feel relief within the first few sessions as communication becomes less reactive and more intentional.
Do you offer in-person sessions?
I do offer in-person in central Austin, TX, however at this time, all of my in-person slots are full. I see CO and TX residents remotely.
What if one of us is hesitant?
The complimentary initial consultation can help clarify goals and determine whether this work feels like a good fit for both partners.
