Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is an extensively researched type of therapy that is an effective treatment protocol for many of the issues that bring clients to therapy, including:

  • Post traumatic stress

  • Panic attacks

  • Performance anxiety

  • Disturbing memories

As an EMDR Trained Clinician, I am able to assess whether EMDR is an appropriate treatment option for my clients. If we determine that EMDR would be helpful for your particular concerns, we will begin the first of eight phases of the EMDR treatment protocol.

Many clients find that they are able to process disturbing memories and decrease symptoms with EMDR treatment much faster than with other therapy models. To learn more about EMDR, this page from the EMDR International Association may provide more insight. You may also contact me for more information or to schedule a consultation today.
